Wow! After finishing a 10-day Denali Prep Course on the Kahitna Glacier, we’ve rediscovered our love and appreciation for all of our creature comforts. After returning to Talkeetna, Alaska, and settling into a long shower, comfy bed, and heat, the trials and triumphs of this course are at the top of our minds. ?

It was quite an experience camping and surviving in such extreme conditions. It was cold, it was hot, there were crevasses and avalanches, and there was an undeniable uncertainty on the mountain. This experience was an incredible learning opportunity designed to prepare aspiring climbers for a team climb to the summit of Denali, the tallest peak in North America, making it one of the Seven Summits.
