Co-Founder & IFMGA/UIAGM-Certified Mountain Guide, Ang Dawa Sherpa, is an internationally certified IFMGA/UIAGM mountain guide and a Guinness World Record holder with over 21 years of experience leading high-altitude expeditions.


As one of the most accomplished mountaineers in the Himalayas, Ang Dawa has reached the summit of Mount Everest 10 times, and holds the world record (with his wife, Pasang Phuti Sherpa) for the fastest couple to summit Everest, achieved on May 14, 2019.


Ang's mountaineering resume includes successful ascents of many of the world's most iconic peaks: Manaslu (8,163m) twice, Cho Oyu (8,201m), Gyachung Khang (7,075m), and Ama Dablam (6,812m) six times, along with countless trekking peaks and technical climbs. He completed his first Everest ascent via the North Side in 2007 and has since guided dozens of successful expeditions across the Himalayas and beyond.

Ang Dawa is known for his technical skill and expedition leadership and his calm presence, cultural insight, and commitment to client safety.
